Request for clarification.

Why was the thread, "As a Kerry supporter this needs to be said Ms Heinz needs to shut the Hell up" locked down.

I think a thread about whether Mrs. Kerry's statements help or hurt the campaign is a valid point of discussion for this board. The people who were criticizing her were apparently doing so out of concern for Kerry's campaign.

If the moderators locked down the thread simply because it contained criticism of Mrs. Kerry's actions, then DU is getting too much like a Bush-Cheney rally for my taste. Maybe next the moderators will set up snipers in the rafters.

Pretty much the same thing and frankly I'm glad it was locked because it was downright rude. Also, I suspect this one will also be locked in 3,2,1....

To try to say that DU doesn't allow criticism is just plain ole ridiculous!
