No offense intended, but I really do not understand why people expend so much energy complaining about Tweety, much less watching him long enough to find something to complain about. It just feeds him.

As the saying goes, there is no such thing as bad publicity, particularly when your job is based on drawing attention to yourself. The people who hate him and the people who love him all give him ratings, and the ratings keep him in his position. The same holds true for a number of media personalities. Why is Rush still on the air? Millions of people listen to him, a good portion of which hate every words that spews from his mouth.

these people are also highly influenced by visuals, esp by people who they deem attractive or authority figures so it makes it tough for them to keep anchor because they are driven by the constant visuals going on around them. esp in washington dc where everyone tries to be an alpha
when kirsten breitweiser comes on forget it... if she says something against bush, he is far more likely to change his tune more towards hers
