They're talking about bombing Palestinians, surely one of the most pointless, fruitless......the new writers understand nothing about the exercise of power.
A weak nation must have an immediate militant response. Notice the kind of response Israel has? The classic response of a weak nation.
Strong nations have many more effective alternatives.
What do we know about the effectiveness of bombing Palestinians? It just pisses them off. So the point of it would be? Unless we feel a deep need to see them dead....
SHIT! Now they're talking about bombing Iran and Syria. And LEO is for it! My poor Leo is senile!!!!!!!!!!!!

but I gave up on West Wing a couple episodes after Sorkin left. The network turned it into Dynasty politicians. I think it is worse than just a bad show these days. It is like looking at a Rembrandt that someone has touched up with day-glo smiley faces.
