11. The just dont apply to the left - right spectrum.
Edited on Wed Oct-20-04 11:22 PM by cosmicvortex20
They believe in self-determination socially and economically.

The reason why they look like they come down on both sides is because they do somewhat.

The left believes in self-determination in social issues, but not in economic issues. The right believes in self-determination in economic issues, but not social issues.

The right doesnt understand it when the libs say to legalize pot and the left doesnt understand when they say minimize government.

3. Why don't they get the same press Nader does?
They'd likely steal some votes from Bush if people knew their platform and candidate.

4. Good question

Nader has been built up by the media as Badnarik has been completely ignored. It's undoubtedly the fault of the "liberal media" again.

7. when I think of corporations, I think liberal
 God damn liberal corporate media! I tell wingnuts that if the media is so damn liberal, those wankers should boycott it--turn off the TV, radio, etc.

5. yeah like the corporate media is going to help Kerry
those bastards push Nader even though he doesn't have a party. Badnarik is polling comparatively to Nader. and Wisconsin is interesting in that Nader and Badnarik are both stealing BUSH votes! Wisconsin Republicans are some of the wackiest Republicans around. Some of those guys support Russ Feingold simply because he's a maverick like John McCain.

9. In my phone polling, I've seen that support for Feingold/Bush
Weird.

I have to say that alot of the Republicans I know are borderline Libertarians. I don't think they want to be swayed though.

10. I think it's just that Nader
is already a name. He has better name recognition that any other third party. Part of that is because he's in the media more than the rest, I guess, but he is an established presence and none of the others are.

6. Well, the true libertarians anyway
I know at least one person who considers himself Libertarian (and is actually registered that way and has voted that way in the past), but he is seriously considering voting for Bush.

8. My best friend is a libertarian...
and is voting for Badnarik. She despises Bush* and said she "hates" Kerry, too. I hadn't spoken to her in quite a while ... I might be able to work on her. Her biggest issue, however, is the 2 party system.
