One more thought on the Gore speech from a couple of days ago...
It seems to me that Al Gore spoke in such a clear and truthful way about Bush and the Repubs and the direction we are headed, I cannot imagine our Party going into the future without his vision. Our Party needs that type of focus and clarity. Let us not forget about Al Gore and the message he now brings.

1. My thought is that I wish Kerry would have given the same speech.

2. I think Al Gore was the right person to give that speech-
he earned the right. I think it is enough that people know it is what Kerry thinks also.

3. We need Al Gore
to get that cable station he bought going and sindicated to the whole country so that we can get our message out and educate more of this nation. I would like to see the same thing with AirAmericaRadio and Salon magazine. We need a voice in this country and who better to do it than these three.

5. It was an excellent and heartfelt speech

And I was so fucking angry beyond description at the tired accusations of "sour grapes" thrown out by the Charlatans of the Right.

I think this election season has wrecked my blood pressure.

7. It was perhaps the best speech of the campaign. But for insiders only.
Al Gore has morphed into the senior analyst of the Democratic party. His speech was one for history--provided we get a JK victory. Otherwise it will be buried in the winner's ashheap.
