what happened in Nevada?
does anyone know if an appeal is being done on the ruling by the Nevada judge who wouldn't let newly registered voters re-register after the Democratic registrations were destroyed by a RNC group?

1. the last I heard
was that they decision is that voter registration will not be re-opened, and the voters are out of luck.

If folks are on the ground in NV, they ought to raise hell. I hope the legal teams are on this one.

VOTER FRAUD ALLEGATIONS: Judge denies Democrats' claims

Party says Adair's decision not to reopen registration influenced by GOP links

By ADRIENNE PACKER
REVIEW-JOURNAL

District Court Judge Valerie Adair rejected claims that connections to the Republican Party influenced her decision Friday not to reopen voter registration to Democrats whose forms might have been destroyed by a Republican-backed organization.

Democratic critics of the ruling said Adair's live-in boyfriend, Thomas Lozzi, is a member of the Clark County Republican Central Committee. But Lozzi said he last served on the Republican Central Committee's 40-member executive board in 2002.

The committee meets every other month to discuss endorsements and the party's stance on issues affecting Clark County.

Adair, who could not comment specifically about the case because it is still pending, said she never spoke to Lozzi about the Democratic Party's request to reopen voter registration.

Judge bombarded with calls after voter registration ruling
LAS VEGAS SUN

District Judge Valerie Adair received about 50 phone calls Tuesday criticizing her decision not to allow voters to register late after they said their forms may have been thrown away, court spokesman Michael Sommermeyer said.

The judge had 20 messages in her voice mail box when her staff arrived and received another 30 throughout the day after a radio talk show host reportedly blasted Adair for her decision and gave out Adair's courthouse office number, Sommermeyer said.
