it said "this is dumb" but sometimes the captioners are totally wrong, they type one thing and the person speaking actually says something entirely different. My boyfriend didn't have the captioning turned on on his TV and he said that the little boy SAID "bush is dumb". :shrug:

Unfortunately I don't have the exact quote suggested that his son said "Bush is dumb" I would love to see that video again if anyone can find it.

At the very end of Nightline. Koppel asked Jack who he was voting for. Originally Jack didn't say anything, then when John Edwards repeated the question, Jack offered a barely audible "you." John Edwards said something like, "Who else? Who is running for president?"
I'm almost sure I heard, "This is dumb."
Regardless, it was a great concluding segment with Edwards and his young kids.

He may be a little boy, but I had the impression that he knew he was being used as a puppet for the camera.
