An optometrist's son from rural NC told me the seniors his dad sees hate * |
|
He was laughing and said NC will be closer than most think. He also told me plenty of kids in NC are coming back limbless. While the right may successfuly disenfranchise minorities, senior, being experienced voters with plenty of time on their hands will definitely decide this election.

Seniors usually are a powerful voting block and they ALWAYS vote. The thought of anyone messing up their Social Security checks should be enough to make them vote for Kerry.
I'm going to keep my fingers crossed and I hope you are right.

3. You know its one thing reading stuff online. It's another thing getting |

the skinny from an erudite college kid with a buzz cut, chowing down a cheeseburger, wearing a shirt that says I WAS UNCOOL BEFORE UNCOOL WAS COOL. Kids are way smarter than they were when I was a kid but a guess its always like that. Nothing like boots on the ground intel.

That's not to say there aren't some out there, and probably in some people's families at DU, but I haven't met any.
