Osama bin Laden is in China?

A friend sent me the following news article. It claims that Osama bin Laden has been hiding out in China, and that Bush has made a deal with the Chinese government to hand him over before Election Day.

Does anyone know anything about this? Is this the October Surprise we've all been waiting for?

2. This started as a story that...

Bin Laden was hiding out in China. He had an agreement with the Chinese government that he would quell the Muslim unrest in western China and they would negotiate his surrender to the US government for him.
One reporter had said October 17 would be the date. Of course, that got all kinds of play on the net. And that date has come and gone.
Now, it's turning him over to the US before election day.

I think it is entirely plausible and needs to be spread around.

If it does NOT happen then Bush looks incompetent even mopre, But if Osama IS handed over we need to say over and over SEE THESE GUYS ARE CROOKED BASTARDS AND DID THIS ALL FOR POLITICS!!!

We need a strategy to deal with the possibility even if it seems remote. The stunt with Reagan and the Iran hostages released as he was being sworn in was the dirtiest stunt in political history (not counting actual assassinations, etc) with us sending arms via Israel to Iran? Insanity. Corruption. Vice. Republicans.

China is covering *'s tush on this one and the Saudi royal family's as well. His uncle, Poppy's brother, head the group appointed to promote trade with China. China's people are the recipients of much largesse from the US now. Where do you think are jobs are going? How much stuff in the stores do you pick up that is labelled "Made in China"?
