Thanks for posting.

I had been struck by a similar image when the Columbia incinerated on it's descent just prior to the folly of our unjust invasion of Iraq.

Also felt that it was symbolically significant that the Challenger blew up on it's ascent prior to our rise in power over USSR.

In ancient times such events (not that they had space ships or anything) would have been seen as omens.

I really felt as though the Columbia tragedy was a warning foretelling our fall from grace and super power status. Too bad our foolishly arrogant leader would never heed such a warning.
