I just put a big yellow "Support Our Troops" magnet on my car
Right above my Kerry/Edwards stickers

I'm tired of being accused of not supporting our troops because I don't support the man sending them to die for his lies.

7. ahhhh... Two places I rarely enter
I pay for my gas at the pump with my debit card and I use the local Arab owned party store for quick runs. I'll have eto make a point of stopping in.

I know I haven't done this since the onset of the war.. but what happened to the people who were sending necessities such as sunscreen, pantyhose (for the sand fleas), toothpaste etc?

4. No reflection on you, but...
How do most people support our troops? They put a yellow magnetic ribbon on their car. That's it. Period. End of story.

I think that speaks volumes.

6. Every morning, when I fire up my computer, I go first to the CNN page
that lists all the names and most of the pictures of those who have died serving our country. I look at them to remind myself that they are more than just the number we hear on the news...that they once were living and breathing men and women...with families, friends and neighbors. Now, today, I looked at them and thought they were alive when Bush said there would be no casualties. Make fun of me and tell me that's still not enough...but for me it is. Both sides seem to forget the humanity of it all at times. :hi:

9. My bf bought me one from a truck stop.
I put it right next to my No W sticker. After a couple of weeks, some asswipe switched my magnet with their magnet. Mine was a bright yellow magnet but their magnet had a little yellow on it and faded as each day passes by. I noticed it right away. I can't believe somebody did that. I was pissed. They bought one of those cheap ones and switched it with mine! I threw it away.

I have two Kerry stickers and added a yellow ribbons -- and I truly believe it confuses the folks who have only the yellow ribbon. Most "conservative" thinking in Bushland requires a dogmatic/black-and-white mindset. For them, it's impossible to support BOTH the troops AND Kerry. I don't know if my ribbon helps -- I've gotten much more positive reactions to the stickers alone, my KE tee shirt, signs, etc.
