I continue to have my doubts about the man. He's a millionaire, he talks about being in the Vietnam War incessantly, and he supported the wrong damn war when he voted to authorize Bush's use of force. He says "idear" and sounds like a pompous ass when he talks.

But he really is delivering the goods as these last two weeks begin. I could get to really like this guy.

6. Oh, yeah, saying 'idear' is definitely a reason to trash
a woman's right to privacy

the environment

our standing in the world

thousands of American soldiers

the economy

millions of jobs...

grow up. You aren't ever going to have lunch with the man, he isn't going to live next door to you, and you aren't going to work in the same place.

VOTE ON THE ISSUES, DAMMIT!!

9. Howard Dean says "idear"
this bothers you? I find it sorta endearing...it shows he is from the north east...

Kerry voted for Clinton to use force in certain situations AS A LAST FUCKING RESORT..and Clinton never got to that point..or did rarely...congress did this...and they followed the protocol..but nobody knew or maybe some did that Bush was going to abuse that..and just do what he did..

I like Kerry...go ahead and whine about him...but he is going to make this country better than what it is...and that is all I care about

10. idear
well if he say "idear" there is no way I can vote for him. Instead I will vote for the Fascist madman with the reverse Midas touch (everything he touches turns to shit) who thinks God speaks directly to him and therefore doesn't bother to think about those pesky liberal so-called "facts" if they don't fit his preconceived notions.

Not.

12. he's also a war-hero, a medal-winner, a prosecutor, didn't support
Gulf War I cause it was a bate&switch played out by daddy * and his cronies to launch a base in Saudi Arabia. I don't blame him for not supporting it. He supported Afghanistan justly & Iraq "authorization vote" for getting inspectors back in that country. So what if says idear & is pompous (which I don't buy as he seems very down to earth), do you really think it's an option in this race?

13. Uh, folks... in case you didn't get it, this was a post *supporting* Kerry
Yeah, sure, I listed a few very trivial flaws. This is only to contrast with the fact that (as I very clearly stated) he "really is delivering the goods."

Jeeze Louise, don't go freeper on me because it took a while for me to warm up to the guy. I thought herdthink was supposed to be the Republicans' problem.

16. Bucky, I don't call this closing the deal. I don't blame HIM, really, at
this point. He's just being who he is. But I'm worried.

That he really won all three debates and hasn't broken away from * in any of the polls has me worried. Worried that half the country is dead set on having that lunatic * run this country, and the world, into the ground.

But like I say, I don't necessarily blame Kerry. He's delivered the goods in spades. But the deal doesn't seem to be closing. We're locked in a tie, it seems.

17. I'm a skeptic usually. But honestly, I don't think it's gonna be a tie
Kerry will break 51%--watch it and see. It won't be a landslide, but it won't be a squeaker. I'm calling it here: Kerry 51% - Bush 47%.

20. I prefer a Yankee accent to that phony un-educated southern drawl
that both parties like to impose on us in almost every national election. Just my opinion -- .

The more I see and learn about Kerry the more I get the feeling that he might actually turn out to be one of the best damn presidents that this rotten system is able to produce. If he had a majority in the legislature I think he could probably do a LOT more good than bad. He can surely point us back in the right direction.

And yes he certainly is a "strong finisher." Although you should keep in mind that Junior is bumbling through his campaign only slightly better than he has through his presidency...

His accent was more pronounced than Kerry's, but everyone had stronger accents back then.

I was a Deaniac (still am, actually), and I wholeheartedly support Kerry. He is going to make an amazing president.

About idears -- I kind of like how he says it. But, I sound like a raging queen when I speak so I try not to be judgmental. :hi:
