Just how desperate are the Repubs ? Check this out !
In several major cities, as reported by Chuck Todd of the Hotline this morning on C-SPAN, the Repubs are placing radio ads on the air during rush hour of 10 seconds each - with the "I approve this message" taking up 20% of the ad....Somehow, that sounds desperate to me, rather than clever?? :)

3. Dana Bash (WH reporter traveling with Bush) told Inside Politics
yesterday that Bush aids say they are "nervous---very nervous". She says they realize that Bush may have a couple point lead is some of the national polls but that it means nothing compared to the fight on the ground in the battleground states. I truly think they are banking on Sinclair to sink Kerry and Kerry has got to be able to deflect this hit somehow. If he does, he wins.

8. They have a captured audience during rush hour..
and they think they can reach some voters as they sit in the traffic jams....pissed off and cursing to themselves....I'm sure they will simply love the Bush ads. :)

9. So what do they say?
"John Kerry is a Masachussets Liberal! I'm George Bush and I approved this message."

"John Kerry will raise your taxes! I'm George Bush and I approved this message."

"John Kerry and that evil Zarqawi terrorist dude are best buddies. I'm George Bush and I approved this message."

Probably not much better than that.
