that is unbelievable. 14 points!!! i don t think so. have that many who voted for gore or nader now gone over to the dark side? i don t believe it.

2. As much as I think someone has to

keep monitoring the media, I think the best thing we all can do is just drop all support for the media. That means stop watching, and stop visiting the sites. Most news you can get from these sites gets mentioned on other, better sites, like DU. Since money and attention is their god, simply stopping paying any attention to them seems the best antidote. FAIR and MWO can keep us abreast of totally sick things they do.

I haven't read a newspaper, watched TV news (save the Daily Show) or read a newsmagazine in months, and my mental health is all the better for it.

Hit them where it hurts, and take them down.

Expect to see a whole lot of dismal poll numbers thrown out there to convince people that the chimp is beloved and unbeatable. Anything to demoralize Dems. 4. They MUST propagate the myth that the election will be "close"

.. It's like the skationg judge who gives an unreasonably low score, so that there is "room" for the coming skaters.. They are playing down the populatirty right now, but I have heard them crowing about how close the actual race will be.. This is because the Diebold-factor works best in "close: races.... a few votes here..a few otes there..

Don't despair.. they are just setting the stage.. Whne the election gets closer, so will the "spread".. It has to be that way, so that the people will buy the fact that * won again in a squeeker..:(

The upside here for *, is that there will be no way to "recount", so who's to say he didn't win:(..

We have known for years that T.V. news reporting has hit the skids and this did not happen over night. I think a leadership change in this country will be a wake-up call to the powers that be. There also needs to be a lot of follow-up. A lot of people from this board are writing to the news publishers with their concerns about how the news is miss reported. This needs to continue.

When we do get a leadership change, we need to hound the government with turning the FCC laws back to pre 1996. Then maybe we will she some responsibility to-wards the public rather than the corporate dollar. Also we our PBS back into the public hands and out of the corporations. This will improve our information and remove the propaganda from the airwaves, but we need to be tuff.

I just read a propa-poll of theirs that said 42% of Americans support chimp on legalizing illegal immigrants.

Sometimes the pools look good and sometimes they look bad. At any rate, it's silly to blame the messenger. This poll is very similar to others showing the exact same thing. (Including internal polling by Democrats.)
