Vote early in Florida!

This morning I voted in Lee County using the touch screen machines. In addition to the national races there are so many local races and constitutional amendments to vote on, that it took 20 pages on the machine! Then there were an additional 3 pages to review my vote selections, before casting my ballot.

For those who wait until Nov. 2 to vote, it looks to me like there are going to be huge lines and long delays at the polling places. I strongly urge all Florida voters to cast your votes early, or vote by absentee ballot, to avoid a nightmare on Nov. 2! Also be sure to have a picture I.D. with you, or you may have some difficulty in voting. I suggest that we get as many of our voters to the polling places as we can, over these next ten days. Do not wait!
