When Was The Bush's Last Visit To OHIO????
Edited on Thu Oct-21-04 10:25 AM by Beetwasher
Has he been there recently??? I know he's sending Arnold there, so they must be concerned about it, but why has he been avoiding the state? You'd think he'd be there every other day considering how important it is. Not that I'm complaining, but what gives? Seems weird...

Is it possible that since the BBV issue has been practically neutralized there that they feel they can't win it so he's not wasting his time?

1. I heard that his poll numbers go down when he visits there

I think this was pure speculation on the point of some Dem strategists.

But there doesn't seem to be another likely explanation.

Or is there?

5. For sure
One of the 2 top battlegrounds -- and he's not going there, while he's rallying in New Jersey??? Makes no sense.

9. The "internal" strategies, IMO, are very weird this season.
Someone mentioned that they heard from the Kerry camp that if they take all of New England and AK, then they win -- that OH, PA, and FL don't matter. Which is weird to me.

Then the GOP running around on the tired Rove trick of rallies in some states to make it seem like they are in play (NJ, OR, CA for example)

So who the hell knows what's going on.

11. I started a thread on this a few days ago
There was an AP article noting that he had not been to Ohio in like two weeks. Naturally, it brought up whether Bush is conceding Ohio.

It could very well be that he is giving up on Ohio and hoping to replace those EVs with Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota, which combined equal Ohio's.

14. Canton on Friday
He'll be at the Palace Theater (holds 1500) on 10/22. 1:30pm I think.
There is NO WAY Monkey boy can sneak into this place. If the SS doesn't clear the streets for blocks, he HAS TO SEE the protesters!!
WOOHOO!

Ironically, last time he was here (end of July) the Palace was showing "F9/11". The SS asked them to change the marquis, but the Palace told them to Cheney themselves. Canton HATES bush.
