Leads in "battlegrounds" proof that Kerry himself best represents Kerry |
|
It is the Iowa retail strategy carried out on a larger scale. Kerry himself is the best weapon against all the propoganda, the best spokeman for the Kerry campaign. Look at the national post debate surge. Kerry's concentration on the battlegrounds and resultant leads there are proof that the closer look people get- the more they like him. You even see proof of this right here on DU- when longtime posters come around and say: "NOW I AM VOTING FOR KERRY!"
Look for a late and decisive Kerry surge.

has suppressed Kerry. When people see Kerry "unfiltered", he's a winner.

7. Which is why he is out there stumping... |
|
The media may be blocking or misrepresenting his appearance, but the people who are going to those rallies already know the truth.
The rallies are drawing increasingly large crowds every day. Those people are getting fired up and going home talking about it. They are going to vote, then they are going to get everybody else they know to vote.
Kerry is doing this campaign the old-fashioned, before-there-was-media way. He is out shaking hands and kissing babies.
I think we are seeing a revolution in modern-day campaigning here. It is simply unbelievable to watch.

Druing the caucuses I was for Dean, but liked Kerry (though his supporters sometimes brought out bad things in me). Seeing him speak a few times in Iowa (where we saw a great deal of him) put me at ease. The man wins you over. He reminds of many good qualities I saw in Dean, Bradley, Gore, and Clinton. We explain our position. Republicans deliver theirs. I think Kerry has shown to be strong in making the case.
I also think he was doing this all along--there was just no media interested in convering it.

4. media not interested in convering Kerry |

that's been a huge problem. Voters are grateful and relieved when they finally get to see him in person or hear him in a debate like setting. Cutting through the bullshit is good for all.

6. Kerry supporters had chips |
|
and lots of good food at our Iowa Caucus but I stuck with Edwards at the time. I am fully in the Kerry camp in every way. He will carry the day in spite of all the chimpian/rovain efforts to steal this election.
