CNN just showed Kerry watching the baseball game
We need to get video footage and take pictures of it. I believe this debunks the myth of who would be more fun to have a drink with. It showed Kerry happy and having fun with a group of people watching the game. He was very relaxed!

14. it's a shot of baileys and jameson dropped in a guinness...
and quickly chugged. The smokiness of the whisky and the sweetness of the baileys go really well in the beer- but you get wasted pretty fast- after two it's LIGHTS OUT!

18. Whoa there
I used to drink Bailey's a lot but I don't know if it was the sugar, fat or Alcohol combo but I would get messed up really fast. I still can not drink the stuff but love the taste eminently. I'll just suck up the Guinness.

25. the only time Guinness is bitter is...
if it's really old. the important thing about Guinness is freshness. fresh Guinness tastes almost like chocolate. it's the most delicious taste on the planet.

10. Kerry Went to Fillmore West to See The Stones And The Dead
While he was stationed in San Francisco, where he was surfing old school in his spare time.

I've heard him being funny as hell (which I could find the damn article) where his longtime aide was complaining about having to sit in the tiny backseat of Kerry's Volkswagen (kept from his college days).

He asks Kerry, "Did you ever think about getting a bigger car?"

Kerry jokingly responds, "No, but I thought about chopping the fuckin' legs off all of you!"

Not exactly People magazine type of stuff, but Kerry is a down kind of guy.

3. They are getting a lot of good photo op coverage today.
I have seen him hunting too many times to count (I especially like the part with him and Woody, the dog) and the pictures from watching the game.

8. Sounds like Kerry doesn't hunt the way Cheney does
You know, hundreds of birds released into a closed pen with nowhere to go. Sounds to me like Kerry hunts like a man.

The Yankees will win another World Series. We might not get a chance to defeat fascism again in our lifetimes.

6. They showed Kerry sipping on a bottle of Budweiser
watching the game with his crew. Might be a subtle reminder that Bush can't handle his beer anymore.

the only child or maybe his little sister (who later died) was a baby. . . this was before his psyche was screwed up by his parents.

And since Bush can't drink, I'd say that's Kerry.

15. It would be a hell of a lot more fun than drinking with the drunk
I remember people like shrub in college. They were the ones passed out on the front steps of the Frat house with puke all down the front of them.
Yeah, I would sit down and drink a beer with Kerry given the opportunity.

with Bush you have a beer, he sips a near-beer and you both stare at the TV. Whee!

17. Has anyone else considered the "Curse of the Bushino"?
I know that the Curse of the Bambino will not be officially reversed until the Sox win the World Series again, but coming back from 0-3, against the Yankees, in what is now being called "the greatest choke in sports history" (front page of MSNBC), got me thinkin'....

Remember how Bush used all those images of NY Yankees in his convention slideshow, he showed himself throwing out the opening pitch at Yankee stadium....perhaps he cursed the Yankees, by using them for political gain, to further his evil agenda, and they will not win the World Series now for many, many years.....

Wishful thinkin'.
