1. Great but aren't absentee ballot only counted if they can make a change?
As I understand it Virginia doesn't even count the absentee ones unless they can change the outcome already counted. At least that is what I have always understood.

6. I never realized you could do this until I went to va beach site
from the 18th to 30th you can vote IN PERSON on an absentee ballot - look it up for your area

It was great - you fill out the absentee ballot request - they check your id - I brought license and voter reg card - they look me up in the system - give me absentee ballot - they have you fill in the space between an arrow head and tail - color it in - then you put it in a machine

I don't know if the machine reads the marks - I mentioned how they would know early on the way voting was going - that is when they said the votes were tallied at 7pm on election night

so it is done - I don't have to worry about lines or any other obstacles

I just had to fill out a reason for not being here - I said I would be on vacation in north carolina - you have choices of long commute or business trip or something else - no one is going to check - just a good way to guarantee I voted

2. Great! I voted early in battleground MO. If we can bring one of our two
states to Kerry, he could win this thing even without OH and FL! Are you volunteering on Nov. 2nd? I am taking off from work to do just that.
