Smirk screeching like a wounded chimp on CNN doesn't win him any converts
in fact, I think it may do damage to his numbers.

Didn't I read that whenever he appears in Ohio, his numbers drop, so they are sending Gov. Gropenator instead?

He's visited Pennsylvania 41 (!) times and he can't break open a lead there.

2. It is true
Whenever he campaigns actively in an area -- his numbers go down. This was true in 2000. He almost lost South Carolina by being there so much.

13. For one thing, he only talks to small , hand picked groups
of adoring fans. They were going to vote for him anyway. Then the rest of us have the pleasure of seeing and hearing him tell the same "cute" little remarks over and over. We all know his stump speech from memory. "... and that's a lot of money, even for a librul
Massachewist Senator". followed by laughter. "... He can run but he can't hide". "The trouble with my opponent is that he doesn't understand turror".

3. whining -- a significant turn of events

He's got nothing positive. Inside polling must have led to a decision to deep-six hopes for a positive final week. It's all trash-Kerry-talk now -- but he doesn't realize that the subject of the referendum is staring at him in the mirror every morning. He's got to get a consistent 49 in the polls before he can even hope to pull it out; most are showing 47 or even 46 these past couple of days.

7. The funny thing is
Listening to Bush talk about the awful state the health care field is and how doctors cannot afford liablility insurance, etc. all of which has significantly worsened since he has been president.

Where have you been in the last 4 years Mr. President?

It's just so like Crawford Coward to blame his problems on to others and absolve himself of all responsibly for the mess he has created.

8. Yes! Everytime he starts whining about these things --
I think "YOU'VE been the President and had a Republican Congress--why are you whining about this NOW?"

I'm sure we aren't the only ones this occurs to when Chimpy starts his complaining.

10. Yes, it's all the more damning given that Repugs control Congress
It's just laughable watching Smirk act like he is running for president for the first time. With his dismal record of disaster and failure I guess he has no other option.

Just hope most Americans see through this too.

9. He swings from branch to branch & state to state
dragging knuckles and beating his chest. I sure as hell hope that people won't be dumb enough to vote for the idiot.

11. I was watching Kerry speak after Mrs Reeve..
his tone was so much more strong and comforting than Bush's. Bush came on and the contrast was amazing.. he sounded like a shrill 14-year-old boy not getting what he wants..
