Novak is such a smug prick |

I'm paraphrasing here, Teresa Heinz Kerry has donated 10 million to environmental causes, now they are paying her back by spending 3 million dollars to endorse Kerry.
1. Kerry has earned his support by the environmental community. He has consistently supported sustainable policies.
2. I think that they consider the money an investment in the future. It's pretty clear which candidate is going to help the environment, and which one is going to continue to rape it.

because it wouldn't make any sense at all that he would pass up a chance to stop the genocide in Darfur just because there's no SUV juice there, would it?

Do you REALLY expect balanced commentary from NOVAK? Or, for that matter, Woodruff, Kagan, Crowley, Schneider or Blitzer? Their GOP affiliations are a matter of public record.

His comments were laced with insinuation.
I know that journalist are always going to bring their views with them - you can't completely divorce yourself from your convictions - but I expect journalists to be JOURNALISTIC (writing characterized by a direct presentation of facts or description of events without an attempt at interpretation.)
We all know that Jon Stewart is a Kerry supporter, but he still manages to call bullshit on exaggerated talking points. Both campaigns are going to spin facts. That's their job. A journalist should cut through the spin, not add to it.
