In second grade class: Kerry 26 Bush 2

A teacher friend of mine ran a poll in her class and found a Kerry blowout. This teacher friend is the wife of a man who works for a prominent Delaware Democrat but she doesn't talk politics with the kids--and a substitute teacher actually administered the poll.

A fourth grade class (same school) found Kerry 19 Bush 6.

My nephews (9 and 12) hate Bush and his smirk, which they always point out.

Based on this data, I will confidently call Delaware for Kerry.

But the Repukes around here sure like to put up yard signs and bumper stickers. It grosses me out, but Delaware does seem safe--so I'm volunteering in Pennsylvania. I was thinking about N.J.--maybe that's where the Pukes will try to steal the election.

I remember worrying for Sen. Biden--the Ray Crapworthy people had lots and lots of signs and stickers and he still got his ass kicked.

3. My son tells me..

he is very outnumbered by Bush supporters in his class (of course, we're in Texas, so..). Believe it or not, I try hard not to indoctrinate him. He watched all of the debates and told me Bush didn't really answer the questions :).

The other day he told me people at his school were saying "no one should vote for Kerry because he puts botox in his face". Where do little kids get this stuff? I can't imagine them reading Drudge, so I'm guessing their parents actually sit around and say things like that in front of them. Bizarre.
