6. If you mean by the behavior of little boys pretending to be grown ups...
then no.

I look at guys like Bill and Tucker and can only think what it would be like to break their noses and watch them bawl like the babies they are. I know that sounds terrible, but I would feel much better knowing I knocked them down a few pegs.

2. that is the FIRST thing that came to mind when O'Liely's issue
became public...

I actually thought..hmmm wonder what kind of hypocritical things he said about CLinton...

I am sorry but they still hate Clinton so much..and to me...what he did was wrong..okay sure..but getting a blow job...compared to lying to America about a destructive war????

Clinton will be remembered as a great President...Bush will be worse than Nixon...in 30 years...at a repub convention if they mention Bush's name..there will be a gasp...sorta like with Nixon..I believe that..

5. ."in 30 years...at a repub convention"?!?! In 30 years the publican party
will be remembered as the nazis of the 21st century and they sure won't be having any conventions.

3. I worked for Turner Sports for six years in the early 90's
and the inside scoop was that the only way any of the female "talent" on CNN got a"head" was via the casting couch.

There was a reason the one ubiquitous woman news reader's nick name was Bobbi "Blow"tista.

7. What a quote from a Fox employee!
"It’s not saying they don’t like women who aren’t smart. But women at Fox were in trouble if they were on air and they weren’t dressed like a hooker. Everybody at Fox is painfully aware of that."

This reminds me of many years ago, before the women's movement of the 60's. That was the ONLY way a female ever got to a top position! I remember the Chairman of the Co. I worked for said one day, "Women are only good for ONE thing...on their back in bed!" That was in the late 70's.

I worked very hard, and the way I succeeded was to be like "one of the guys". That's the only way I could make it work for me. I really hate to see that old crap coming back into the workplace again!

9. It starts funny, but quickly becomes tragic.
Still, I can't see Gwen Ifill gettin' thrown across the Newshour anchor desk in a three-way with Jim Lehrer and Mark Shields.

10. I worked in TV for 10 years. . .
it's more rampant at some networks than in others, but it goes on everywhere. ESPN probably has had more sexual harassment suits than any other network that I'm aware of.

11. "skirt chasing" is one thing; harassment is another
Skirt chasing is done off the job with people who are completely free to reject one's advances.

Harassment is done on the job, often by people who have more power at work than the victim, who may try various ways to cope with the situation, but they are definitely not as free to reject advances because there are risks in doing so.
