Kerry campaign should make commercial with prominent Republicans for Kerry

There are numerous prominent Republicans who have publicly endorsed Kerry - they should be featured in commercials blasting Bush. It would give middle-of-the-road fence-sitters some personal intellectual cover to abandon the failed Flightsuit Boy and vote for Kerry without feeling they're betraying their party.

I think an ad featuring former and current Republican officeholders expressing their support for Kerry would be very powerful and have an impact on swing state voters and undecided voters.

Ronald Reagan made this plea to Democrats during the Campaign of 1980, thereby giving rise to the "Reagan Democrats."
