of weewee with his weewee all bunched up, I have to laugh. This guy was supposed to be a FIGHTER pilot? The very first thing you do after you pop the canopy is reach down and yank those straps, otherwise, you pinch your balls black and blue when you stand up--it's like wearing a pair of toddler's skivvies. It is SOP, automatic, and second nature--you do it without thinking, like turning on your windshield wipers when it starts raining, or taking the key out of the ignition when you park and turn off your vehicle.

He was obviously so eager to leave the aircraft (maybe he had a panic attack, like he did back in his Guard days) and just could not WAIT to egress. His forgetting to do something that is so basic to pilot training makes it look like he either did not learn that basic lesson, or even more frightening, FORGOT what he learned.

Even frequent passengers, such as flight surgeons, who have to wear that gear know enough to yank the straps. You can't count on your little buddies to stay where you placed them, and it hurts to walk even if there's no shifting or pinching.

Every Hunting Season the newspapers have articles about how much Day Glow Red (or is it Orange) every Licensed Hunter is supposed to wear. There is a minimum about of square inches they have cover. This is to keep them from accidentally being shot by other Hunters. Last year I read about a hunter who was accidentally killed by another hunter who was using a Bow and Arrow.

What I keep wondering is; As animals are color-blind, why do hunters have to wear camouflaged outfits? It doesn't seem to make sense to me.

where i'm from, anyway, you don't need to wear hunter orange to hunt geese if it isn't deer season, make that *shotgun* deer season. i used to bowhunt deer, and we didn't have to wear orange then either, unless you were suicidal enough to be out bowhunting during gun season. personally, i just stayed home while the fucking yahoo rednecks ran deer to death, through field and fence, in their rusty SUV's.

anyway, while you'd imagine it should be difficult to mistake a hunter for a deer, it's even *harder* for your average hunter to do a convincing goose impression.
