How can the president criticize Kerry for being "out of the mainstream" while Bush paints his own "unpopular decisions" as laudable?
How can Bush promote a "culture of life" while advocating war as a key tool of diplomacy?
How can Bush claim "we're no longer safe" when he grew up with soviet missiles 20 minutes away from reducing America to cinders?
How can Bush criticize Kerry for "denigrating" his "coalition" in one breath and in the next disparage liberalism as if it's the work of the devil? Does Bush not realize that Tony Blair is a full-fledged socialist and John Howard is the leader of Australia's Liberal Party?

1. To answer your last question, |
|
no. Bush probably isn't even sure where Britain and Australia are.

2. bush thus spake unto me: |
|
"I do not need to explain why I say things. — That's the interesting thing about being the President. — Maybe somebody needs to explain to me why they say something, but I don't feel like I owe anybody an explanation."
