Poll Headlines - Kerry getting screwed....again
Check out these two stories currently on Yahoo! - our guy is clearly given second fiddle status with the media. Check the Yahoo! headline and the poll numbers inside. Bush is up one and Bush "grabs the lead", Bush is down 3 and it's a "dead heat":

Reuters Poll: Bush Grabs One-Point Lead on Kerry
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush (news - web sites) opened a slight one-point lead on Democratic rival John Kerry (news - web sites) in a tight race for the White House, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Thursday. Bush led Kerry 46-45 percent in the latest three-day tracking poll, a statistical dead heat well within the poll's margin of error.

AP Poll: Bush, Kerry in Dead Heat
The result is deadlock. In the survey of 976 likely voters, Democrats Kerry and Sen. John Edwards had 49 percent, compared to 46 percent for Republicans Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. That's within the margin of error for the poll conducted Oct. 18-20.

2. A three-point lead is a three-point lead...
Period!x(

We should have expected it from the media whores--and more of the same for the next two weeks! They'll stop at NOTHING--and we're starting to see just what "stop at nothing" means to them--to keep Dub squatting in the West Wing. But we--and apparently, more of the voters--know better!

B-)

4. I noticed this too.
Seems like the Gore syndrome in 2000. The media just could not say that he was ahead. Any time Kerry leads it is a "statistical dead heat" but "Bush leads" anytime he is up but within the exact same MOE.

So much for the "liberal" media.

5. "Poll: Kerry in 3 point lead, Bush- Kerry deadlocked in other poll"
That's the opposite headline in the universe other than bizzaro we live in.

6. Amazing when it was other way Bush was way ahead
I don't get the media, they can seem to run for Bush then turn around and like Paula in the show tonight push Bush's people and make them look dumb.

Maybe they just want all of us to go nuts! On both sides it gives them an edge over us. They know we care about this election and they are playing us.

7. I am OK with this
The more they portray us with a slim loss or tied the "angrier and wild-eyed" we Dems will get. I never thought I would EVER vote early...I couldn't take it and gave in a few days ago.

We will win if our less likely voters think there is ANY chance of shidiot-head getting back into office. I think these polls will help spur interest in younger and first-time voters.

13. This could work to Kerry's advantage.
The Bushazoids figure they've got it in the bag; they get complacent; maybe some of them don't work so hard, don't vote. In the meantime, we work like lunatics for every single damn vote right up to Nov. 2. And we yank the rug right out from under them. I just got back from a Kerry rally with 30,000 other screaming Democrats and I am psyched. Fuck the Republicans, fuck the polls, fuck the media. We're gonna win this thing.
