Freeper my ass. Yeah, this Freeper is a card-carrying member of the ACLU, a dedicated volunteer at my local Dem Party headquarters, with ACT and with NEXT. I spent my weekend out in the freezing fucking cold working on a project with Women 4 Kerry and will be driving folks to the polls on Nov 2nd.

31. I've gotten rude responses before...but I'm OPTIMISTIC

and even got accused of being a freeper once or twice when I first started, due to low post count, and someone misunderstanding my point.
But I just addressed that individual, hit the report button and moved on. there is so much more wonderful stuff going on here that overwhelmingly outweighs that.

I completely understand the occasional mislabeling of people, because there ARE a boatload of transparent freepers that think its great sport to come here and attempt to muck with our heads. But since the only heads they usualy muck with are each others, they're way out of their league.

oh, yeah, SURE its ok to point out numbers and discuss them, good or bad. What's irritating is jumping from data points to the darkest maelstrom of despair and getting upset when the rest of us aren't willing to jump into that with you.

Myself, I'm COMPLETELY optimistic that unmolested, the popular vote will be landslide for Kerry...all logic supports that. I'm even FURTHER optimistic that even with their vote fraud and cheating, Kerry STILL will win. And even if I didn't think that before, I REALLY think it now because the stink of desperation colors everything the repugs do now, from the pretender in chief on down to the lowliest freeper. They are SCARED, they are DESPERATE, and they are becoming obvious in their clumsiness....that is what convinces me that my gut instincts are correct: an electoral tsunami is coming, and its gonna roll right over the chimp.

Some folks around here accuse anyone posting anything less than "Kerry in a landslide!" of being a Freeper. As far as I'm concerned, if a certain set of numbers is being reported on the major news outlets then it's fair game for RATIONAL discussion here.

I think there is also some genuine mix up going on and have been

trying to get clarification. Some polls are being thown out here which stop the heart but are the same damn poll by a different name. I've been seeking clarification of one of these cluster fucks for an hour now and can't get a response. Will try again. Is the Mason-Dixon and Knight-Rider and SurveyUSA poll all the same poll but with a different name?? I believe that M-D is also called Knight-Rider. I want to know if this SurveyUSA is also another name for this outfit. The reason I ask is because the way stuff is posted all over here tonight, it makes it seem like suddenly a bunch of polls have been released this evening all bringing crap news like Kerry down 6 in Iowa. That knocks the breath out because it was like yesterday polls were showing him up by that amount and now pretty much breathing a little better in the Gore states (5-6 point leads). I'll bet anything some posters are just as confused as I was with all this shit hitting tonight. Could someone clarify about the goddamn names of these polls?????

to know your enemy, and his tactics. Occasionally some repug uses these boards to try to weaken us. They could make claims that we are so far ahead we should diminish our efforts. Or, they could claim that we are so far behind that we should diminish our efforts. THey could post lies that would reflect badly on Kerry.

All of these tactics have in common the desire to get us to diminish our efforts. Don't fall for it!!

We have the better candidate.
The facts are on our side.
This is the most important election any of us have been involved in.
Our efforts can make the difference.

There is really only one conclusion to come to.

If a poll is biased, then fine, it's biased, and you can correct that poster on it.
