I don't remember Clark supporters saying NBC. That would be some of the Dean crowd who threaten to withdraw support of any Democratic candidate if their boy isn't nominated.
But we are above that. Unlike them, we want Bush removed from the white house.
So, for the umpteenth time, YES, I will vote for Dean (albeit hesitantly--I have to look at Haley Barbour's no-neck, smirking face for the next 4 years; the thought of having to see the Dean visage daily nauseates me--but it's better than Bush.)

32. BlueStateGuy, this isn't a loyalty oath. It's an outcry for validation. |
|
The proper response to such a question is "No, I will not leave you, Dean supporter. You can count on me and, yes, I love you unconditionally. Then give 'em a big old hug. Feel the love in the room.

I have always been ABB. Perhaps we could know your response if the poll was on whether Clark is the nominee?

24. Remember last week's poll? |
|
Clark supporters were a lot more gracious about voting for Dean than vice-versa.

Of course I will. Geez, we're Dems. I may not like Dean so much, but if he's our nominee, then that's that.

I read posts from a number of Clark supporters who said that in the past they didn't vote along party lines - but for 'individuals' - just checking.

26. That Is A Bit Much Even For This Love-Fest, Sir |

It is a continual refrain among more heated supporters of Gov. Dean, and of Rep. Kucinich, in opposing Gen. Clatk, that they will not vote for him if he is the nominee: they seem to feel it is a leverage, and that if they threaten to take their ball and go home, assisting the criminals of the '00 Coup on the way, they will be able to get their way. There is no doubt whatever where the balance of such purist petulance lies in this debate. Questions such as this you have put up, in fact, are really nothing more than an indulgence of the common fantasy among such that we who support Gen. Clark are "really" Republican moles of some sort. An infiltrator worth his salt, of course, would be crying up the most radical canididates and positions conceivable, as these are not too popular with the people, and would do some real damage to the Party: that is the provocatuer's method....

It is the duty of all on the left to oppose effectively the most reactionary elements of our polity. The only available medium for this is the Democratic Party. Whatever my personal feelings or convictions, the Party's nominee will receive my vote and my energies in support.
