Is anyone else calling voters for Voter Call?
This was sent to me by True Majority.

They said they were a non partisan "Get Out The Vote" Campaign effort.

The format looks easy to manage and they give you the names of voters in a variety of swing states.

1. about who you will call.
Non-partisan groups across America have registered over 2 million new young, low income and minority voters for the 2004 elections. If all these people vote, they can have a powerfully progressive impact on American democracy, compelling our leaders to bring greater justice to our country, and peace to the world. Experts agree that calling voters can make all the difference between them voting and not voting.

2. Txs.. I just wanted to make sure

I really like the way the site is set up.
They give you ten names at a time to call and you can use your computer to check off the names/responses/if they need rides to the polls etc.

Seems extremely well organized.

Who else can do it!!!

3. Sites like this should be in a pinned thread?
Perhaps we need a master "GOTV" thread with volunteer opportunities. There are so many things people can do from home, with a phone.

You can also get phone #s here:
http://www.acthere.org/

I'm sure there are plenty of other sites like this. How about a pinned thread like "Call to Action". This is crunch time, and while I know that a lot of people on this site are extremely active, there are probably plenty of others with some time on their hands.
