Mr. Kerry will trounce Bush handidly. He will at minimum get 53% of the vote and 320 EV's and could possibly do much better depending on turnout and exactly what percentage of the undecideds break for Kerry.

3. If Kerry can win decisively in the EC, lawsuits may be pointless. |
|
Of course, the GOP loves frivolous lawsuits when they're designed to maintain the status quo, so I put nothing past them.
I just hope this doesn't come down to Florida again. :scared:

6. An election to remember. |
|
When Rutherford B. Hayes lost both the popular vote and the electoral college in 1876, he was ready to pack it in. Then a newspaperman named John C. Reid realized that if they could steal just three states, Hayes would be in and Governor Tilden would be out. Ballots were intercepted and destroyed, state legislatures put themselves up for sale, and skullduggery and treachery reigned.
Some say that the election came down to a single man on the electoral commission created to solve the problem, who was henpecked by his wife into siding with the Republicans.
Two stolen Republican elections (not counting the original October Surprise) is quite enough. We don't "win" until the door hits Shrub's ass on his way out.
