Question: did fdr make excuses when he inherited the great depression?
I don't think so. Infact I think he solved the problem didn't he? I don't remember him blaming Hoover for the record number of homeless people or loss of jobs, FDR just fixed the problem. He then got us through a war we had to be in, WWII. My pont is, looking at history, how can anyone give this administration the benefit of the doubt when they talk about the job numbers or the economy in general. They blame clinton and a democratic minority in congress, yet I don't remember FDR blaming the republicans for eveything. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd liked to be proved it. Until then, this administration has no excuses.

2. And was fought kicking and screaming every inch of the way by Republicans!
The bastards haven't changed in 70 years. I don't say this jokingly. It's still the Calvin Coolidge age with those people.

3. And let's not forget, Bush did NOT inherit a recession.
Despite the scores of Republicans who say he did.
