Did Chris Matthews really say that Bush
would win because he is 1 pt ahead? Someone on another board mentioned that he said that because Bush was leading Kerry by one point???? If he said that today on Imus what an a-hole. Then again I already knew that...

2. Pump Up Them Ratings...
This dude's on full whore for MSGOP as much as this regime. NBC's spending a ton on their election coverage and as the old saying goes "what if you had a party and nobody came?".

I get a feeling Tweety & the other "pundits" are gonna play this as "nip & tuck" despite what tracking polls and other data are showing or else people won't bother to tune in. Even more important is they want people to watch early...when the biggest audience is there and the competition is the fiercest.

Tweety & his bosses know there's gonna be a huge audience looking for results and "spin" during the prime time hours and they're gonna make it a cliff-hanger for those hours no matter how they may personally know that isn't the case.

he said right now the lead is in bush's favor..REDICULOUS shit..becasue the undecideds do tend to break for the challenger but its like if bush shows any sign of a lead ...even if it is .5%...he is winning..which is horse shit...

its so stupid...so stupid....

EDITED TO ADD...Bush is in trouble and everyone knows it...he is in the 40% for approval rating...seems they kind of stopped talking about what that means..but it means Bush is TOAST

4. He Didn't Exactly Say Bush Would Win But That He "was ahead" Now...
I turned it off when he started putting out all that bull shit...I don't need Imus's bullshit right now...He was coughing his head off so may not be long for this world...He's clearly very sick in more ways than one...

6. You know what really shits me about this Imus bastard
Both Kerry and Edwards have been phone guests with him for months and he is so nice to them. Then he does this constant crap BUT when's the last time Bush every called up and chatted---NEVER because Bush doesn't do anything that is unscripted. Why doesn't he rage about that???

8. Tweety said that Kerry was in trouble in Pennsylvania because Bush was
campaigning there.

No logic at all. Bush, the incumbent, is barely pulling 45% there, but Tweety never thinks about it.

It's all about posturing and swagger with him--he has no real understanding of how politics works.
