McCain says Bush "Not totally accurate" (euphamism for liar) |
|
On the Today Show Matt Lauer ask John McCain "Has the President been accurate in his characterization of the situation?" (in Iraq, i.e. "Is Bush lying about Iraq?") McCain responded "Not totally accurate but there has been progress." (i.e. "Yes.") See this freeper post: < http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1253221/posts> Thank you freepers.

Not totally, but almost irreparably so.

3. HA. McCain bothers me so much. |
|
You can see it all over his face and his body language... when he's around Bush, talking about Bush, stumping for Bush - he doesn't want to be doing it. But he's DOING IT and it pisses me off.
I'll tell you, sometimes I get more angry at the ones who realize what's up, aren't down with it but stay silent or toe the party line. Maybe he feels he can restore the Republican party to what it should be, but I don't know how he plans on accomplishing that by being Bush's roadie. I'll tell you one thing, if this was completely reversed and everything that has happened had been done by Democrats and my party was hijacked, I'd speak out loudly and I would endorse, campaign for and vote for the challenger. It's not about party lines right now, it's about normal people vs. the uninformed and evil people.
It's my fantasy that McCain and Powell both wake UP before the election and go public... but it will never happen, thus it being a fantasy and all.
