my short take is that damning information, no matter how significant simply does not make it to the national dialog in any timely way. to look at juts one tiny example:
the reference to niger and uranium in the 2003 state of the union address was a totally false piece of intelligence by the fall of 2002, and 95% of the earth's population knew it. but not here.

the sequence is something like this:
administration does and says whatever they wish, knowing that a complicit media, combined with an unquestioning electorate will bring no consequence. it's a powerful and beautiful set up for them.

sometimes i think it is just hopeless. the founding father's warned about the dangers of a compliant media, and an uninformed population in the federalist papers. their major concern of course was the fear of monarchy, something very real to them at the time.

well, we got one now.
we can only hope that journalism, being the main source of information, can regain some of its integrity, or that the people start to bypass traditional media outlets.

3. Unfortunately, no one will believe it because it is so big.

They'll say "If this was all true, how come I don't know anything about it?" and dismiss it after barely browsing.

Most people, particularly on the xtian right, are too incurious to dig out the dirt on those moonie freaks.

But thanks for the efforts. Maybe at some future point we'll share a concentration camp.

4. I think you'd really do some damage with that if you could make the

point in 300 words or less. As it stands, folks like us who already agree with you are the only ones who have the patients to make it all the way through the complicated twists and turns.

5. Thanks passport, and tonight after work I will organize it again

I started off just investigating the first scam letter, the scary social security letter, that my mom received. I had no idea when I started that this would grow into a gigantic investigation.

Starroute, koko01, and salvorhardin quickly joined the battle, and this project is nothing without all their help. Others have joined, like Amen1234, Peter, Rose, Evil, Outsource, George, Plasticturkeys, and votejohn04_com, and each contribution has made us all realize just how big this thing is.

We're gonna catch our breath for a short time, try to organize it again and come up with a good summary so others can more easily join our battle, etc. I hope you join us :)
