GOPers are Ignoramuses
Your home page select article about the fantasy world that Bush Backers live in, how they are considered so ignorant....this appears to tie in with an L.A. Times article.

The Times says the Kerry Campaign has given up on the deep south. It is so deeply entrenched in the Bush camp that anything further there would be a waste of time and money.

That item is pretty sad for two reasons.........that we are abandoning a huge section of the country, about a full one fifth...people who cannot understand what Bush is doing to this country and believe that fighting terra is the only issue. They ignore Bush's handling of the economy, of health care, jobs, education and countless other areas where he has created a bloody mess. The second reason is.......if Bush backers are in a fantasy world, then the good republican conservative folks of the deep south have got to be dumber than dirt. The word IGNORAMUS does even come close.

2. It explains much. . .
the American people are more informed about who got voted off The Apprentice or Survivor than they are about the issues in this presidential campaign. And they damn sure won't hear the truth via the top-rated cable news network in this country, Faux, or the runner-up, CNN (aka Fox Lite). We are the United States of the Stupid, led by the Dumb & Incompetent.

7. They also ignore the FACT that bush IS NOT FIGHTING TERRORISM
bush is making things WORSE for us all...bush is making us LESS SAFE...bush is doing an incredibly BAD JOB on his "war on terror".

A new study by the Program on International Policy Attitudes (PIPA) shows that supporters of President Bush hold wildly inaccurate views about the world.

8. The South reminds me of Jonestown.
Politically hypnotized or something. Not much independent/critical thought/reasoning going on down there, just waiting for their Kool-Aid.
