Big birthday today. Why hasn't Bush mentioned it?
Today is the world's 6000th birthday.

The earth was created on October 22, 4004 BC, according to a famous assertion by James Ussher, Archbishop of Armagh, Ireland, who used Biblical accounts and genealogies in his calculation.

Seems like Bush could sew up the creationist vote by saying "Today is the world's 6000th birthday! Only by defeating the terrorists will we have the 30 more before Jesus pays us another visit!"

Oh well, strike that. He already has the creationist vote sewn up. No need to piss off rich people who believe in evolution.

2. your math, or Ussher's, math is off --

3. If it was 4004 bc, it would be the 6007th birthday today
which is clearly not worthy of mention by our idiot-in-chief

6. IT IS ALSO MY HUSBAND'S BIRTHDAY!
Happy 33rd Birthday honey!

I've never understood how creationists explain carbon-dating. Fossils can be carbon-dated to millions of years old, much older than 6,000 years old. My sister is a born-again and has bought me books on how evolution is a "fairytale" only I've never been able to read that far into it.

7. I think carbon dating is only good for measuring things back 35000 years
or so. However, there are many other dating methods.

Creationists are whackos.

8. Happy birthday Earth!
You don't look a day over 59999, except(let's face it) in Florida, where frankly, I think you are a wee bit over the top with your fountain of youth thing.
