I'm thinking it's a pathetic last-minute attempt for the Bush campaign to look hip and pick off some of the youth vote, where they are presently getting their asses handed to them.

That's the best I can come up with.

I looked over really quickly, and thought to myself, "That is one BAD toupee. Who does he think he's kidding?" Then I realized it was a cap ... though I think they were serving the same purpose.

Usually it seems that CNN likes to get Matthew Dowd on there and frame him as a non-partisan guest as he trashes the Kerry campaign.
