He's a board admin and he's pretty miffed that he's been made a fool of. Yep - registration is required - but it's worth the fun...

I'm signing up (hey, I even have a beat-up old Lincoln I bought at a police auction).

There was a thread her eon the 5 deferments earlier. i thought he DID get 5, just like every other college student in the country, then VOLUNTEERED to go to Vietnam, which he didn't have to do.

I feel Kerry's service was less than honorable even though he served. I have never said that about any other Vet in any other theater of war. Kerry is a guy who used his service to grandstand while he was there. He wrote up his own after-action reports to receive his medals. And 4 days after he received his 3rd, he was out, leaving his comrades behind.

Then he turned on every American soldier still in theater. He lied before Congress, called American soldiers baby killers and worse. Met with Communists as a Commissioned Officer. Assisted in the slaughter of over 2,000,000 Vietnamese, Laotians and Cambodians.

I can go on and on but as a service to our fellow readers, I suggest you spend a couple of hours in this political forum going over the threads. I think you will find them enlightening.

I'll be answering him later, but let's get a few DUers to sign up and smack down this FReep.

8. Poor Bryan, he is desperately wrong & misinformed.

I feel so sorry for people like Bryan, because one day they will find out they are in fact absolutely wrong, and in fact were complicit in damaging their own country and causing the deaths and dismemberments of tens of thousands of uniformed American men & women.

(And of course tens of thousands of innocent civilians but that they won't ever care about because only Americans are human beings to their way of thinking).
