13. How can you blow a poll by three?
Bush was at 48%, Gore was at 45%

Where else were those 3% going to go?

Gore had the momentum, they went to him.

Being off by 3% is hardly blowing it. lol

11. I am telling you - things are starting to trend our way
The Time and Gallup polls are BS. Maybe Kerry was a little hurt by the Mary Cheney flap but things are swinging his way. I say he is going to get at least 5% boost from new voters and record turnout. If we are tied or 3-5% points behind the day before the election there is NO WAY he loses. The big corporate polls ALWAYS underrepresent minority voters. And Zogby has already proven that Rove's vaunted "four million missing Christian Evangelicals in 2000" is pure bullcrap. Rove was just trying to excuse his incompetence and over-confidence.

Kerry is in a great position IMHO. The fact that the corporate polls undervalue minorities by approx 5%. The fact that we are going to have record turnout. The fact that Kerry wins big among college students and new voters .... well, I'm a natural pessimist, and I am feeling pretty good.
