Use "President Kerry" instead of Sen. Kerry when posting elsewhere |
|
I noticed that Jon Stewart said "President Kerry" last week on Crossfire. It really struck me when he said it and I was just listening to Richard Holbrook on Randi Rhodes and he was using "President Kerry".
Let's all shift the national converstation from Kerry, Senator Kerry, Mr. Kerry to PRESIDENT KERRY!
If people hear President Kerry they will start to think of him as the President.

You talk to many people that are so confused that they wouldn't know if he was or not?
Besides, we don't have anyone else to bestow that title upon. It's been a long time since we could legitimately type out President _____.

5. Context, context, context. |
|
When answering others in other forums -
Try answering with:
"If elected, President Kerry will do x and y."
"Under a Kerry Administration, x and y will happen."
"As President, Kerry won't let x or y happen."
"History may look back and say President Kerry shifted the nation toward healing."
It's all how you use it.
