2. Yeah, I saw that Detroit Snews poll with Bush leading this morning

Michiganians learned a long time ago that the News is the most right-wing paper since the Beobachter Arbeiter. Nobody to the left of Joe McCarthy has taken their editorial page seriously since dinosaurs walked the Earth.
My great-uncle Joe was the News' Circulation Manager in the 1950s. And, because of that, my very liberal family has always read the News, rather than the supposedly more left-leaning Free Press. But, as my late mom used to warn us, stay away from the editorial pages and don't take any of their polls seriously -- they're probably polling the Detroit Athletic Club and the Bloomfield Hills Country Club.
John
The News is a pretty good paper with a horrible editorial stance.
ON EDIT: I wanted to add that Epic/MRA is run by Bill Ballenger, a former Republican state representative. If he's got the spread as six points, it's a little more than that.
I don't mind E/MRA as a snapshot -- they try to do a fair job, but I add my own fudge factor to it (say, three points to the Dems). My guess is Kerry's up in Michigan by eight to ten points.

We'll carry this state for sure. It'd be great if it were by double digits.

3. Link Please
I went to the Epic/MRA website and don't see a poll for October -- latest was Sept with K49 - B42.

Are you quoting a new poll?

The numbers I got were from www.dalythoughts.com The dude is a Bush supporter, but sometimes he gets the numbers out before they go public.
