I would also say this if it were a Dem ad. It is one thing to discuss an ad and the impact it might have on the race. It is quite another to simply run the whole ad! Same thing for the Swifties ad, which got a lot of free air time, over and over. The medium has become the message.

It's no wonder we had so many people saying they "were not familiar" with Kerry or they did not "know him well enough". It's because until the debates, they had never actually heard him speak.
It really pisses me off how the news networks play clips of Bush and then just talk about what Kerry said. It takes all the life out of his statements, and the power of his presentation is stripped from the coverage.

Called both ads "effective" but commentators said there may be some doubt as to who the eagle represents!
