Next three days--what will Karl pull out of his a$$?
Karl knows that eight days before an election is the witching hour for dirty tricks. It's just long enough to register and affect voting, but too short to effectively combat. Now I know that response times have shortened, but I still expect the big October Surprise to come between now and late Monday.

So what will it be? Something that makes every shenanigan they've pulled so far pale in comparison. I don't believe we have Osama in custody, but go ahead and think that if you like.

Your thoughts?

5. The "Eagle Ad"
I think its still up on the Kerry site.

Eagle and Ostreich...Eagle sees everything, knows when it's time to change direction....Ostreich can't see anything......

10. KE04 is so all over this wolf debacle - they had at least four major press
releases on this plus the eagle ad - the new ad called "Protect" is magnificent (at the bottom of this list)

Kerry Campaign Statement on New Bush Ad 'Wolves'

12:22 pm
WASHINGTON, Oct. 22 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Statement by Kerry spokesman Chad Clanton on the new Bush campaign ad "Wolves":
"Instead of giving voters even one good reason to vote for him, George W. Bush has chosen to scare the American people with images of wolves. In three debates, voters saw for themselves the kind of strong and principled leader John Kerry will be. He is a leader who will wage a tougher, smarter war against terror, and fight here at home to strengthen the middle class."

“"We all know that George Bush and Dick Cheney manipulate the facts, right? Manipulate the facts to fit their agenda. And they are at it again.
"There is a new ad. They have stooped so low now that they are using a pack of wolves running around a forest trying to scare you and trying to scare the American people.
"The President is continuing to try to scare America in his speeches and ads in a despicable and contemptible way. The American people are smarter than they think. They are going to see through all this.”

2. I'm still waiting for some "positive" news from Iraq
The media will then use this to drown out Kerry's message. This is ultimately Rove's plan.
