Oregon: Kerry 51% Bush 43% (new poll)
Rasmussen has it 51-43 in Oregon, so much for Mason-Dixon or whoever who had Bush up by five there.

Ras moves it from toss up to leans Kerry.

4. Bush-Cheney is cutting Oregon ads.
KTVL, the CBS affiliate in Medford announced this morning that the Bush-Cheney campaign was cutting its Oregon ads by half. Bush's desperation visit to southern Oregon got more bad publicity than good. A friend of mine who was undecided, but leaning Bush, got to drive a van in the motorcade. He called me the day after the event and said that he is now voting for Kerry.

11. He took part in the volunteer orientation.
They told people checking tickets to bounce anyone who remotely might be a Bush opponent. That led to the tossing of the three school teachers who had "Protect our Civil Liberties" on their t-shirts. I think the vibes for this whole event were very negative. The night of the event, protesters were shot with pepper balls by the local police. As it turned out that whole fiasco took place because Dumbya changed his dinner plans at the last minute.

12. Buck Rabbit Calls Oregon for Kerry
Yep, that is my declaration based on exit polls here at DU and you heard it here first. Oregonians have been mailing in their ballots since last Saturday. Every Oregon DU member who has posted on this subject has already mailed their ballot in for Kerry.

Put the first 7 electoral votes in the blue column.

If I am wrong you may kick my fuzzy tail, but you'll have to track me down in New Zealand to do it.

13. Rasmussen is just as bogus as Mason-Dixon
In 2000 they were way off the mark. It's GOTV now. These late polls mean nothing.

14. Oh, I don't know there tracking poll has been pretty close
to Zogby's this time. I agree though that it does come down, ultimately to GOTV--which will be done.
