Rush Limbaugh thinks serving in the military isn't a real job.

On his radioshow yesterday he said Kerry is a gigolo, and implied that he's never had a real job. I called in today to ask him to clarify that.

My call was screened by someone, even though it was open mic friday.
He wanted to know my question. I said, did I hear correctly that Rush thinks Kerry has never had a real job, he said yes. Then I said, Kerry was in the U.S. military and Rush thinks that isn't a real job, so all of the people serving in the military don't have a real job? He said, your missing the point and I said no, you are. Then he hung up....

I'm tired of this fat ass spewing his nonsense and I am trying to curb the onslaught of his misleading BS. I wanted to ask him directly about this matter, but he has a surrogate screening his calls, so as far as I'm concerned he was speaking for Rush.

So, all of you serving in the military, remember, Rush doesn't think you have a real job, but I do and I can't thank you enough.

Career military men routinely put in MORE than 40 hours a week, during peacetime (it's even crazier than that during a conflict), and if their jobs had an equivalent in the civilian community, most officers would have the education and training equal to multiple doctorate degrees.

You might enjoy the attached MP3 of a caller who managed to maneuver his way through the producer's screening of this lying coward's calls in December 2002. This is Rush refusing to answer a simple question about his avoidance of the draft. You can clearly hear his indignation at being questioned by a caller--my God--question ME?

The physical "problem" that disqualified the lying, drugging, coward from the draft was reported as follows by Limbaugh biographer Paul D. Colford:

As for Limbaugh himself, the broadcaster stated that he was not drafted during the Vietnam War because he had been classified 4-F after a physical found that he had an "inoperable pilonidal cyst" and "a football knee from high school." He added: "I made no effort to evade it or avoid it."@
