Wow, devestating attack ad on Bush! Wow
Edited on Fri Oct-22-04 06:49 PM by TheDonkey
I wish Kerry would come up with some grand ads this last week like that. Anyone have any details about the final batch of Kerry ads?

The Move-on ad features bush joking about not finding any WMD at that dinner last year and then shows a young lady who's brother died searching for those supposed weapons.

Shocking.

Edit:

Not move-on but a new group. Link to website and ad

1. Powerful commercial, real lump in the throat stuff
A guest on Tweety just mentioned that's the sort of thing that really pulls at undecideds.

2. Bush... Compassionate Conservative and Defender of Life
Mocks Carla faye Tucker, jokes about missing weapons which is #1 reason (at first) to go to war... what a miserable excuse for a human being.

3. Saw it on CNN earlier
I was wondering when they'd make use of Bush's "joke." The use of the soldier's widow is powerful without being manipulative; Bush's own words do him in.

It's the most effective ad I've seen.

4. That Ad's very Powerful...
And in light of the survey that came out today about the belief by Bush supporters that Saddam had WMD's maybe could make some of the Kool-Aid drinkers think again. But then again these people are not in the reality based world.

7. checked them out
I liked "Across America". Too bad I haven't seen them on TV, and of course not being pimped out by the media.

HE has some good ones.

15. I think the osama one he lied about in the debates are the best
It shows him, in his own words lying, looking into your eyes, effortlessly and without the slightest hesitation. It shows him in his true light. His true character displayed for all to see.

16. A good one would be:
dark screen.

text in white letters: "Bush picked up a key endorsement"

fade to dark

obvious footage of the 1979 Iran hostage takeover crowds 'celebrating', with the audio from one of the BushPutsches "Four more years! Four more years!"

fade to dark, with the chants still going

white lettering again: "Iran, a member of the 'Axis of Evil', endorses George W. Bush"

Fade to black, then the "disclaimer".

19. Simple and eloquent and painful
I gave them 15 bux to air it. Really, I'm starting to feel like a strung-out smack addict, just too many good ads, gotv campaigns, etc. to give to. I don't know how I'm going to make it to payday at this rate! But it is just too important this year! -K
