Electronic voting problems in Austin

These are Eslate systems. You will have to register to read the whole story. What is happening is "voter error" can cause you to pick Bush when you mean to pick Kerry, pick nobody if you pick Bush. 40,000 + have voted, nobody knows how many have voted in error.

1. I voted in a town south of Dallas
and it was good old fashioned paper and pencil and then you place the paper ballot in the lock box. Couldn't be easier and much less prone to error. Oh and no chads just bubble in a straight democratic ticket. Electronic ballots should be banned!
