I Want, Right Now, to Know What the Hell is Going on in Iowa??
First it was Wisconsin and that seems to now be coming around. At first Iowa was sort of okay and now it is like WHAT in some of these polls. I know, I know...I basically posted this last night. But, goddamn, something just doesn't add up and I know Iowa. Where are the union men and their familes that dominate the eastern half of that state. Did the fundie idiots take over that big??? What's going on in and around Des Moines. What is the Des Moines Register saying (are they now under the Rove spell??). What are the REAL numbers out there. Now it looks like we are going to retain all the Gore states and freakin' Iowa is sitting out there in the corn picking it's ass. Tell me this isn't so......tell me. Why after all these years and Vilsak would they be heading in the direction of this con man. Run the Pat vs. the Maggot ad that is out there if necessary!! Talk to me.

2. Kerry is not behind by 6 in Iowa
I don't live in Iowa, but I'm certain the race there is much closer.

3. Zogby had Iowa leaning Kerry in his last poll
Hopefully the poll you saw was another Freeper one. As for my the state of my birth, I think Iowans are smarter than that.

4. It's very close there
I plugged in all my figure-out-who's-gonna-win fudge factors and it came out exactly even.

And, FWIW, I have WI going to Kerry by 50.25 to 49.75, so if you live in either of these states, take election day off and take all your Democratic friends to the poll. Use chains to drag them if necessary...
