14. What is it with these guys?

I am in a constant yang with my local email group over the service record of Cleland, McCain and Kerry, any politician who served in Nam. They constantly berate these guys' service records, but they served in Nam with distinction. They prefer those that were either too drugged or drunked up to make roll call to the real thing.

Yet, when you call their service record into question, they get irate.

They seem to have no compunction about complaining about cut backs in Vet benefits, but don't care if disabled vets from Iraq are living in cars and being dunned by the US Gov't for their unfulfilled "enlistment bonus." Duh, they didn't fulfill it because they are disabled.

What is up with these guys?
